    This is my second time buying a case from pela. I got the first one about a year and a half ago. After about a year the corners and charging port hole were getting pretty rough but I figured I’d gotten a good use out of it, especially considering it’s compostable. I got this new one with the “choose how much you pay” thing, which was nice because I’m a broke college student and shelling out $70 for a phone case is not nearly as sustainable for my wallet as it is for the environment.

    That being said, I think it’s worth the purchase because:

    a) I’ve gotten cases from Casely and similar places where the design or case itself wouldn’t last half as long as these ones

    b) I support replacing plastic products with more sustainable alternatives in general, and though these are a bit pricey, those prices can’t go down until the market expands

    c) small businesses!!

    Evergreen Case

    The Evergreen case is absolutely beautiful and well made. The colours are rich and vibrant. There is no obnoxious off gassing which is wonderful. However, the case seems a bit loose, and although it hasn't come off in everyday use, I would prefer it to fit the phone a little more tightly.

    Overall, I love this gorgeous case and will definitely repurchase another one when this one wears out.
