How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Pixel 6 Case
Bought this a few weeks ago, as my first case from the company. I chose the design because it reminded me of tarot cards, which is fabulous! I love that there is a company who is creating plant-based phone accessories, makes me at least feel good to be using something like that. The case is nice and slim, soft too! You wouldn't think it would be durable because of that, but I believe the videos that are on the site and what they prove, which makes me happy too!
Would have tried the liquid screen protector as well, but was bit too expensive so maybe next time! Pela might just be my go-to case company, moving forward...long as they continue to exist, that is!! I've also told a few people about the site and company, because of how much I support! Also bonus points for being made in Canada, which is where yours truly is from. Being a tree hugger and one with nature, my green heart thanks you for being awesome!!!
