How to Apply

  1. Pull the tab to peel off the circular plastic film from the MagSafe module.
  2. Place the MagSafe module on the back of your phone; the magnet will automatically align it.
  3. Remove the larger rectangular plastic film.
  4. Slide your Pela Case over your phone, securing it in place over the MagSafe module.
  5. Rub the back of your case to ensure the module adheres properly.
  6. A thin layer of plastic will stay on the module to keep the magnets secure—no need to remove it!

Your Pela case is now MagSafe-ready!

    Simple Install, Thoughtfully Easy to Reuse

    The MagSafe module was very easy to install and worked exactly as shown in Pela’s how-to video. I ended up returning my first set of cases, and transferring the module into replacement cases was surprisingly painless.

    One helpful tip from experience: during installation, the first plastic piece you remove is the circular one. That piece can be repurposed. The second plastic layer (the “permanent” one) stays on and holds the magnets together. Once the module is placed on the phone and the larger outer plastic is removed, the adhesive that attaches the module to the case is exposed — that’s when I put the first circular plastic piece back on. This keeps the module secure while making it much easier to remove and reuse later if needed.

    Overall, it’s a well-designed system that allows for flexibility without compromising function.
