Can I wash the watch band?

Yes! You can easily clean with soap and water.

Is it really sweat and saltwater resistant?

Absolutely. The magnet-free stainless steel hardware is specifically designed to resist rust and corrosion from sweat, saltwater, and daily wear.

How is it different from other "eco-friendly" bands?

Made from Pela's proprietary plant-based materials (not just "recycled" plastic). Actually compostable at the end of life, not just less harmful.

Does it feel like rubber or silicone?

No. Our plant-based material is softer and more flexible than traditional rubber, with a premium feel that moves naturally with your wrist.

Will the colors fade?

Our plant-based materials are formulated for durability and color retention through daily wear, workouts, and UV exposure.

How do you remove the strap with the pin-and-rail system?

To remove the strap, you must insert a small pin or similar tool into the access point on the side of the rail system. While pressing the pin inward, the strap should be pulled away from the watch body. Applying pressure disengages the retention pin, allowing the rail to slide out smoothly.

What is the end of life for this product?

Please remove the watch strap from the hardware. The hardware may be recycled and the watch strap can go into industrial composting.

    LOVE

    I purchased the stormy teal version for my watch series 8. It fits perfectly and it's the first strap that doesn't cause a rash or any sort of irritation. LOVE IT, highly recommend.

    Excellent Material

    Allows much more airflow compared to traditional bands at Apple Store. Small improvement that be made is for the metal pin to be in place so it doesn’t pinch the skin when putting it on.

    Excellent and stylish plant-based watch band

    After reading articles on the likelihood that plastic from our sports watches may be entering our bodies, I searched for another option. I was pleased to find this incredible watch band -- from a Canadian company. There are a number of stylish options. I chose the stormy blue design and have not looked back. It functions just like the plastic watch bands, is comfortable, and even more stylish. I plan to buy another.
