How long is the Pela Phone Strap?

Thanks to adjustable sliders, the Pela Phone Strap ranges from 15cm - 80cm in length.

What is Oeko-Tex?

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 means the strap materials have been independently tested and verified to be free from harmful substances, making them safe for prolonged skin contact.

Does the phone mount strap interfere with phone charging?

No. The mount is designed so the connector bends away from the charging port, allowing users to keep it installed while charging their phone. If charging is blocked, the mount is likely installed in the wrong direction.

What is the correct orientation for the phone mount?

The correct orientation of the phone mount is with the Pela logo facing the device (toward the user) before placing the phone into the case, and with the O-ring extending out through the case’s charging port opening.

Do the phone straps have BPA in them?

No, there is no BPA in this product.

What phone models / cases is the Pela Phone Strap compatible with?

The Pela Phone Strap is designed to work with Pela phone cases, and is compatible with both Pela Clear and Pela Classic cases. It should work universally across our case lineup. While it may work with other case brands, Pela can’t guarantee compatibility since those cases haven’t been tested.

Will the phone mount scratch my phone?

No. The phone strap mount has been tested on both glass-back and metal-back phones. In lab testing, we ran 10,000 cycles simulating carrying the phone by the wrist strap and found no evidence of scratching.

Can I wash the phone strap?

Spot clean as needed. It's built to handle real life.

    Great for traveling

    Great for traveling, no phone dropping or setting it down somewhere. I love the metal clip that is actually in the back of the phone is wide and thin enough but truly feels secure. I did substitute the black cord part for a bracelet size on that was attached to a clutch purse instead so it's shorter but when I travel I use the long one around the neck.
