How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

This is my third Pela case in five years (different phones) and I love it. It’s cute, easy to grip, and durable. I have dropped my phone so many times and it has never cracked.

Love Pela, want more color options
I love Pela cases, but would love to see more solid color options. I love the more subtle, natual designs, and would like to see more options in this area. Thanks for asking!

Excellent
This is my third Pela case. I have only had to replace them when I got a new phone as they are very hard wearing. I often drop my phone and it has never been damaged inside a Pela case. It’s also a good idea to keep a tenner tucked inside in as even if you forget your purse you’ll probably have your phone with you.
