How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

So far so good!
Good fit, great design! So far I’ve had it for a month and it is still in very good shape (unlike my previous case from another company I shall not name!). LOVE that is is biodégradable once it has completed its mission!

Best iPhone case
I love my new Pela iPhone cases. Knowing they’re good for the environment is a super plus. But, even better, it’s a heck of a lot easier to spot my phone now. It’s a beautiful cream yellow, decorated with wildflowers and honeybees. It was always hard to spot my phone before. The plastic cover was an ugly solid black. Never again! Pela forever!! 🤗

I love this bee case!
This is my second Pela bee case. The first one lasted the life of my old phone. I love the design; it’s so pretty. And it’s not slippery like most cases. I just put my old case in my compost!

Long wait period before receiving...
I love these Pela cases! The only issue I had was waiting for them to arrive. And waiting. And waiting. I understand that they make them to order, but I had a brand new phone without a case for maybe a month. So order early! Other than that, love the case!
