Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

This case feels good
I love how this case looks, but more so how it feels. It feels good in the hand - soft but also grippy enough that it isn’t going to slip out of my hand. And it feels good that this case is better for our environment. Great product and great company.

New Pela case
Just received my new Honey Bee phone case, first time Pela customer and so far certainly not disappointed. Love the Color of case , was easy to put on , no more slipping in hands and was delivered in record time ( three days earlier). The service department was super, had a slight problem ordering, which was my error but the service people where right on it and corrected it. Kudos to all at Pela !!!
