Our cases are made from flax shive and a plant based biopolymer which break down naturally without harming the environment.
Over 80% of our cases are made at our Kelowna Sustainability Studio, where we also recycle materials, test compostability, and develop new products.
Pela partners with various not-for-profit organizations to help fundraise for charitable causes, including Ocean preservation and clean up.
If your screen cracks while wearing a Pela Case AND our liquid screen protector, we'll pay for the repairs.

Love this case. The colour makes me happy, it fits easily and perfectly, and I feel confident it will protect my phone if and when I drop it! But perhaps my favourite thing about this case is that it came without any packaging. While I appreciate recyclable and compostable packaging, no packaging is the gold standard!

I was concerned that this case wouldn’t be as durable as I need but I’m happy to report that it’s more durable than the cases I was using before! Plus, it’s really cute and I love that I can wash it without worrying about damaging it.
This is now my third Pela case that I have had over the years and I don't think I could go anywhere else. The price is a little steep but I'm grateful to be able to afford it as it is for a great cause and they are beautifully designed. If possible to snag on sale I would say they are a must.
