How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Perfect Fit
This is my third case from Pela for this phone, and again it is perfection. The fit is spot on. The style is perfect for my taste. When it falls apart eventually, I can compost it. There is nothing else I could want in a phone case. I'll be back for more (next year).

Great at Protecting iPhones!
I’m a very clumsy person and I honestly did not expect this case to hold up considering how much I drop my phone. But after very many drops, the case is still in very good shape and my phone is not broken or dented whatsoever! I also expected the print of the fish to rub off or fade, but it’s been awhile and they are still perfectly in tact!
